Amigami Party @ Wheeling Moose Feb. 9th!

We’ve been hard at work designing a multitude of awesome Spring fashions for our jewelry line, and sales and interest is booming!  I will be working over the next 2 weeks to take pictures and add them to the Amigami Jewelry Gallery, as well as my Etsy shop.

And you can soon have your chance to peruse the entire array of Amigami items.  The Wheeling Moose Lodge will soon be hosting an Amigami Party!  Come visit the local Moose lodge and shop our wide selection of fashion accessories and home accents first hand, and maybe stay for a drink and good times.  You’ll find great gifts for Valentine’s Day, and support local artists.

Wheeling Moose Crawl and Halloween Party!

The Wheeling Moose has been hosting a plethora of ultra-exciting events as of late, and I’ve been attempting to chronicle these occasions for the fledgling Wheeling Moose Lodge web page.  Here I’ve posted the photos of both the Moose Crawl and Halloween party, for your viewing pleasure.  Please feel free to leave comments and share your rendition of these wonderful events!

Pizza Express & Moose Lodge #2621

Amigami is currently hard at work on several web design projects for local businesses & organizations.  At this moment we’re developing the website graphics & formatting, and will definitely post the URLs as soon as the sites are live.

The first business is a local restaurant, Pizza Express, whom I’ve worked with before in developing a logo for their new line of frozen pizza.  Pizza Express is a great example of a successful local business, their food is terrific, and I’m so happy to be working with them.  We will be creating a new and improved storefront website, as well as a page for their frozen pizza line, Oven Sensations.

Additionally, I’ve been appointed as Webmaster for the Wheeling, WV Moose Lodge.  The Loyal Order of the Moose is an international fraternal organization, much like the Lions or Eagles, with a focus on family and community service.  Although the Wheeling Moose is a tight-knit community, they’ve decided to join the online realm in order to stay connected with other Moose lodges & chapters and let the public see all the great activities they’re involved in.

I firmly believe in the idea of local businesses & communities supporting one another, and offering my graphic & web design capabilities as a service is just one way of making that idea a reality.  If you or someone you know would like to discuss similar web design projects, please contact Amigami for a consultation.

Annual Wheeling Moose Steak Fry!

The solstice is approaching, and in Wheeling, WV that can only mean one thing:  the annual Moose Club Steak Fry!  The Loyal Order of the Moose is an international fraternal organization, much like the Elks and Kiwanis Clubs.  Every year we take a break at the Wheeling Island Marina, with great food, drink, & entertainment.  Tons of people showed this year, and the weather was superb (minus a rain hiccup during set-up) — all in all, it was a great success!!  The shelter is spectacular, with abundant seating, cooking space, and lots of room to roam.  Thank you to Tom Dorsch & his family for maintaining this wonderful space and allowing us to use it!  Congratulations to Dennis and Katie for winning the 50/50 Raffles.

And a HUGE Thank You to Ed, Katie, Gus, Karen, Box, Rabbit, Bill P, Arden, and all the other Moose members who volunteered their time towards making this year’s steak fry such a success!

This year a special appearance was made by Stone and Alberto, 2 alpacas from local Rancho Chico Ranch.  They were a big hit, and loved hanging out with the crowd and being true party animals.  Thanks to Ramon for bringing down his boys — we hope they return next year!

As the unofficial photographer of the day, I’m posting a full gallery of the day’s activities.  Please feel free to comment and share your memories of the Moose Steak Fry!
